A collection of books dedicated to the study of human folly.
The Library of Mistakes aims to improve understanding of the financial world by applying the lessons of history.
Books, books, books
Home to books on bubbles, manias, crashes and corporate collapses, the Library provides information on a multitude of financial disasters over the centuries.
By studying the financial past we can, hopefully, learn from it.
Established in 2014 by renowned financial historian Russell Napier, the Library (registered charity SC040205) is open to anyone with an interest in business and financial history.

A crucible of debate
The Library is also a venue for regular financial history talks. Recent subjects have included Britain’s IMF debacle of 1976, the collapse of HBOS and the accounting practices of the Jesuits. (Talks are open to all those registered on a first come basis).
Changing the world one mistake at a time.
